We cannot believe it has been a year since Cade was born. It was only a year ago I was getting pulled over by the police on my way to the hospital to have a baby!LOL I am not sure where the time has gone, maybe it is b/c we are so busy around here but he has grown like a weed. Things are moving at the normal fast pace click as we move into the spring season. Brody has chosen to play spring soccer instead of baseball (much to my disappointment) but he is very talented and I have decided to let him do what he loves. Clayton wants to take tennis lessons and Grace is continuing with dance and kindermusik. We are still trying to find out what is going on with fedex. Hopefully by the beginning of summer we will have an idea about when Kreg is going into training and what position he will end up with in the long run. For now we know he will be based out of Memphis, which is a double edge sword. It is nice that we are already living where he is going to be based out of but at the same time we were really ready to make a change especially with some of the issues that have come to light as of late. So as we continue to search for th perfect place and perfect time to move (is there such a thing?) then we will decide at that time. But for now we will stay on Wisteria Lane.

AHH where does the time go??

Yikes! I cannot believe it has been 2 months since I last updated this blog. It has been very busy around here so I will try to highlight the important stuff.
November was spent finishing soccer, starting basketball and getting ready for Christmas.
School continues to go well for the boys and Grace continues to ask 10 times a day "Is it time to get them from the bus stop now?"
December flew by without so much as a whisper...
Clayton's choir (which rehearses once a week for an hour before school starts) did a great job performing around town. I was really impressed with how well a bunch of K-2 students could do with such little practice time. He is also playing basketball, and loves to read. The best quote from Christmas was when he opened up a 20 book series and started jumping up and down and yelled. "whoo-hoo you won't see me for the rest of the year!!"
Brody's class had plenty to do in december including a wreath decorating party. The kids were supposed to decorate the wreath with something that they like or an interest or hobby. Kreg got a kick out of watching Brody decorate his wreath with plastic bugs, lizards and spiders while the other kids in the class choose something a little less creepy and crawly. His wreath was the hit of the day.
Grace had a Christmas open ballet class. It was the first time Kreg and i had gotten the chance to watch her class, and we were not disappointed. I am going to try and post a clip from the video I took that day. I took her to see Santa one day while the boys were at school--she was not impressed she said he was scary and wanted nothing to do with him. (honestly he was a little creepy)
Cade continues to grow in leaps and bounds in the past 3 weeks he has cut 4 teeth, learned to crawl, cruise and even taken 4 to 5 steps at a time. He loves to go outside and is content to watch the kids run around. It is official he is not a baby anymore, but is moving on to toddlerhood. He is 9 months today!!!
Christmas was hectic but great. Kreg's parents came for a visit, and we all went to Build-a bear to spend the gift cards Rah had sent. We also got to go to the children's mass together. The kids enjoyed playing card games with them, and loved the fact that they got to sleep on an air mattress while their beds were being used!
Our close friends across the street, the Kosche's moved New Year's Day, it was not only a sad day for my boys (they had 2 boys) but a sad day for Kreg and I. They are great friends and our lives will seem empty without them here.:( Thank Goodness for cell phones!! We hope the people who move in will be half as nice as the Kosche Family.
Well I think we are caught up for now (at least the abridged version) and I will try to do a better job in 2009!
