Summer comes to an end...

Today the boys returned to school, they were a little nervous because it is a new school for them but I know they will do great!
We have had a busy but wonderful summer! I loaded up some pictures from the past couple of weeks.
Brody started third grade today, and has signed up for soccer in the fall.
Clayton started first grade and wants to do gymnastics this fall instead of soccer.
Grace is 2 going on 20 and will be doing kindermusik until she is old enough to do what she really wants to do which is ballet!
Cade is 4 months old. He is rolling all over the place, and even tries to scoot towards things that look like fun.
Status Quo for Kreg and I as we try to keep up with everyone, hope all is going well!
Enjoy

July fourth weekend

Happy 4th of July!
We had a great weekend. We set off fireworks in the cove with the Farnsworth family on July 3rd. And I attempted to get a pic of all four of the kids dressed in their fourth of July clothes! We had a good time setting off lots of fireworks. We unfortunately set our neighbors bush on fire but luckily eagle eye Brody spotted it right away and we were able to put it out with water from their pool! Very exciting! We also threw smoke bombs down the sewer to try and scare the roaches out for some good ole cockroach stomping!!
On the fourth of July we were invited up to Nav and Laura's new lake house, did I say house, I mean mansion! The house is incredible and we were so fortunate to be some of the first official guests. The kids had a great time and loved tubing on the lake as well as visiting the clubhouse pool, fishing from the dock, and attending a BBQ to watch the fireworks with a band and 2 different jumphouses. It was a jam packed 2 days but we all had a great time! Thanks to Nav, Laura and Davis for sharing it with us! It is a very brave to invite a family of 6!!!
Once again I am not in any of the pictures but If you squint really hard you can see the back of my head in one of the dock pics!
Hope you all had a great holiday weekend, it is on the laundry and catch up with the house.... til next time.

Groundhog Day

Crazy happenings at the Lukens house. We pulled the for sale sign from our yard last week due to some shake ups at FedEx. It feels a little like groundhog day from when Kreg worked for NWA. There is talk of furloughs and lots of movement within the company. As of right now it appears Kreg will be changing planes, and will probably be based out of Memphis, so we have decided until things settle down in the next couple years(HA HA) we will just stay in Memphis and wait out the storm. Who would have thought when Kreg got hired 11 years ago that being a pilot would be such a volatile business!
On to more fun news, we took a small trip to St Louis last week. We went to the zoo, the arch and the children's museum, but I think the highlight of the trip for the kids was staying in a hotel! We all had a good time, and Kreg even took the 3 older kids up to the top of the arch! It was nice to get out of town and try to process all the changes that are about to happen.
Cade is rolling over and smiling-he loves to "sing" and be sung to! He is really getting to be a chunky monkey. Kreg says he has more chins than a Chinese phonebook!
Well those are the highlights from our house! To all the Fathers--Happy Father's Day!!
